Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

About a week and a half ago the kids and I collected leaves and pressed them in books.  Today we used glue to fix them to cardstock.  On the back of the cardstock I had a bible passage printed out.  We will also be punching a hole and tying a ribbon to each one.  These will decorate our tables at Thanksgiving and our guests will be able to take them home to hang on their Christmas trees.  The kids really enjoyed this project, especially collecting the leaves and sprinkling the glitter.  Who doesn't love glitter?

  1. Great idea! Did you have to spray to preserve the leaves?
